  I initially bought a ring in St Maarten February 2017 whilst on a cruise and within 24 hrs a stone had fallen out: by this time we had arrived in Tortola. I went into the store and explained what had happened and the sales assistant spoke with the Manager whose name I think was Roger. He examined the ring and said that it had gotten a knock. How I don't know as I was on a cruise and didn't realise that you had to wrap your rings in cotton wool whilst wearing them! I reluctantly agreed to a repair as our ship was leaving within a few hours. You are asked to sign all different pieces of paper stating that it was fixed and was in perfect condition etc. I asked the guy who was dealing with me for his name as a point of reference and he went into a complete flap! If I wasn't so annoyed it was comical! To cut a long story short by June a further stone had fallen out and I've only just got this resolved and again not totally to my satisfaction as I wanted a refund.. My overall opinion of Diamonds International is NEVER AGAIN! To the guy who served me shame that you went into such a flap when I asked your name as up to that point you dealt with the matter very well! Against company policy - really? lol To the Manager, Roger. You came across to me as arrogant and not interested in Customer care. I'm sure as long as you are selling plenty of jewellery to loads of people who keep rolling off the cruise ships you won't give a damn what I think. I have friends travelling there shortly and don't worry they have been well warned!

  Beautiful rings, some of the biggest, darkest Tanzanite stones you will ever see. Disappointing though once they realize you're not going to buy. Which is sad because although I realize they don't know who's just paying dress up and who is genuinely considering a future purchase but, engagement rings are something you wear for the rest of your life. Couples aren't going to pull the trigger no matter how appealing you think your deal is, if the setting doesn't 'speak' to them. Yes, some couples consider tanzanite for engagement rings. How you treat someone for a $200 sale or someone 'just looking' is very indicative of whether or not you will GET the $19,000 sale. They might just be saying they're just looking to see what kind of service the associate gives when there is nothing immediately in it for them. I hope they finesse it for after the hurricane rebuild.
