::Hurricane Irma is going to hit the island tomorrow. We will not be able to get there for our vacation and the Long Bay Beach Club will not cancel our reservation without a cancellation fee of 2 nights. Beware of this awful, shady place!!

::Bartender was extremely personable, a great representation of the island spirit. However, the wifi connection is barely usable, and they neglected to pay the cable bill, so for most of the stay the TV was not accessible.

::Long Bay Beach Club is a treasure trove of opulence. The restaurant boasts spectacular food and beverage service beachside while the warm trade winds comfort the soul. The beaches are pure bliss and the service staff from the bellman, to the wait staff, and front desk, are exceptional, and cheery from sun up to the wee hours of the morning. The rooms are comfortable and airy; the cocktails are exemplary and the staff makes everyone feel welcomed and happy. A perfect vacation spot for those traveling solo, those in need of a romantic getaway, or those celebrating a multigenerational family gathering. Anyone who has been privy to this luxurious hide away is sure to return often.

::Never in our years of travel have we come across a hotel with the worst customer service. We had to cancel because we were both very sick with bronchitis. They were not willing to give a voucher for future travel or any kind of refund. I would not recommend this hotel!!!
